Rides + Service

Rides+ services is a door-to-door program available through Rides. It is a coordinated program with 211 Texas / Helpline and other partner agencies to provide one-stop shopping transportation information and assistance to older adults and persons with disabilities.

Rides+ will provide Ambassadors on selected routes of shared ride vans and will provide personal assistance to clients from their pickup location to their destination. The range of services include assistance with boarding, carrying small packages, etc. Ambassadors offer an added level of service by providing assistance for clients from their door to the van, for example: into doctor's offices or into day centers.
